Imam Warith Deen Mohammed 3-31-2002 Quran, Bible Have spiritual and scientific messages The Quran is a scientific message and Bible is too. Those are not only spiritual messages, they are scientific messages and that should turn our mind on to knowledge and science and to show us what is happening already. They only come to men who searched, men who had an orientation in their mind like scientists have. Their orientation is to search and study and to try to verify things. To try to find the truth. They are truth seekers, that is who they were. The Bible says, “know you the truth and the truth shall make you free.” 9. John 8.32; So that means they were truth seekers and the Quran says, “The truth comes and knocks the brains out of falsehood.” 9. Quran 2l.l8; So they were truth seekers. Quran Brought about the second rebirth of the world They were very much like you students. Understand that the Prophets and Messengers of G-d are very much like you. You can’t give us a rebirth for the world, the second mercy. The rebirth came with the Quran and gave the world a rebirth. A rebirth of scientific orientation in their brains, in their thinking. The Quran gave them a rebirth. They had lost that. The world was in darkness when Muhammad (pbuh) came. Even Christianity was in ignorance and their publics were oppressed. Their females could not go get education, their common males were made slaves, treated like animals, whites. They did not care what color you were, they were treated like animals because they thought the divine spark, what they had of scripture could only come to certain people and if you were not blessed with that you did not deserve to be treated like a human being, you deserved to be treated like an animal. They believed that there were two levels for human life. One in the mortal body, the flesh, that’s the animal, the other one in the spirit that G-d gives by inspiration by way of scripture. And they had gone astray from the way Jesus taught. They were not with the way he taught, they were believing that they should be all spiritual but rule the material world and keep it under them;. That is the age or era of the gnostics. They were Christians and they were far from the way when Allah (swt) brought Muhammad (pbuh) and gave him to the world with the Quran. Because of Muhammad (pbuh) they came back to Christ’s way. It was Muhammad (pbuh) who brought science back to the scientific minded people and who brought and helped them to get back to the direction that Christ gave them. Without Muhammad (pbuh) coming with Quran they would not have ever come back to the way.
