Immunisation and Birth Certificate Regulation On the 1st January new regulations came into place regarding immunisation status and birth certificates.-under this law the Blue Back is no longer acceptable proof of immunisation The service has given all families the month of January to update their childs Immunisation and Birth certificates. The service does have the right to ask that your child does not attend until these records are provided. The fine for failing to provide this information is $4000 Please see the note for further information or speak directly to Anneke or Brett. Fees and changing/dropping day We would like to remind families that our services requires 4 weeks (20 working day) notice for dropping days or finishing up at our service. To pick up days all you need to do is see our educators and fill out a form and this will be done ASAP. We do have limited spots on most days, so please see educators if you require them in the near future. If you are having financial difficulties and are finding it hard to keep up with fees you please see Anneke or Brett to discuss a payment plan Nappies We would like to remind families and parents that our service does have a policy against using pull ups for nappy changes. Also can you please make sure that you pack a minimum of 6 nappies- we provide nappy sacks and baby wipes. if you think your child may need more please pack according to your childs needs as we are limited on spares and sizing. Sharing Circle Just a reminder to all our families with children in the Kookaburra room, Sharing Circle will back to normal as of the 1st week in February and each child will have a day given to them for sharing circle this will be displayed in the Kookaburra room on the notice board. Please remember that this is not show and tell and we do ask that children do not bring in toys or belongings as they may be broken and we cannot guarantee the safety and care for the toys .Please see our educators for further information. Staffing We would like to welcome Jade to the service; Jade is joining us to complete her Certificate III in Children’s service. Anneke will be away for the second week in February; Sam will be in charge of the service while she is away, please see Sam or Brett if you need anything. Anneke will be able to be contacted if needed. Lunch box Ideas and Guidelines Please remember to check packages for food items that contain any type of nuts, the service is a nut free zone and these items will be sent home with a note and children will be given a substitute food, Families may be charged a fee if it continues. The service would also like to remind families that many foods contain large amounts of sugar; our regulations are 15g per 100g. Many items from the health food section in supermarkets are very high in sugar so please read the label before you buy them. Please find attached lunch box ideas.
