Impatience is my weakness. More than ice cream or wine or George Clooney movies. When I want something I lock on and I want it now. It is a constant, bitter resentment that I am not in control of when and how I will arrive at my destination. It is not enough for me to know that I CAN have what I want. And then I realize...this is the root of unhappiness. Thinking that you can or should control the time and manner of getting what you want is to desire to interrupt the natural flow of energy in the universe. When energy flows, getting what you want will effortlessly match up with others getting what they want. There need be no conflict between our desires when we allow creative energy to flow through time and space in the manner it naturally flows. We create conflict when we seek to control those elements. Your desires will manifest at the time and in the way that is right for the whole. I wont say to be patient, because that infers waiting silently and without action. I will say, have faith and let go. Your work is to feel the result of what you want before it arrives. Know it is on the way just like that vacation that is booked and paid for is on the way. Go about your preparation. There are things to do, of course. Be aware of the time; Dont fall asleep and miss your flight. But dont tell Sunday to come faster than Sunday comes.
