Important Economic Event - US GDP (Preliminary, QoQ) - 13:30 GMT, 25 November 2014 With the US economy and #USD appearing to be losing some steam, market participants are looking ahead to Tuesdays preliminary Gross Domestic Product (#GDP) figure from the country. Though the US economy is still seen to outperform many other global economies at present, analysts look forward to the US GDP data - released quarterly and in three stages: Advance, Preliminary and Final, it is a wide-ranging measure of economic health and activity, recording the change in value of all goods and services produced by the country. The advance figure is expected to be revised lower with the preliminary data, down from 3.5% to 3.3%. Should this hold true or worse than expected, it could pressure the USD to move downwards.
