Important announcement from Horizon Publishing Group: "20th July 2013 - A Fantastic Book Launch Dinner" Horizon Publishing Group Book Launch Dinner of four (4) outstanding titles was held on Saturday 20th July 2013 from 18:00 to 22:00. It was one of the best book launches Horizon Publishing Group has ever held with in excess of hundred and ten guests attended and enjoyed the variety of the program that included four outstanding speakers launching their books who were introduced by prominent people, singing, funny moments, a birthday party, let alone the excellent food and beverages they all enjoyed. The attached program shows the details of Horizon Publishing Group Book Launch Dinner which was, according to guests’ comments, a “fantastic book launch evening”. The four launched titles were: - “To Thee Do We Cry, Poor Banished Children” by the talented play writer and lecturer at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. Geraldine came especially from Singapore on Saturday morning to attend the launch and was heading back to Singapore in the morning of the following day. Geraldine was introduced by Rani Suppiah, ESL lecturer with Trinity College, University of Melbourne and a PhD candidate at Macquarie University; - “Heart Diseas, Cancer & Ageing” by one of the most prominent scientists in Australia, Dr Geoff A Mohr, who wrote circa 60 papers for some 20 international journals in a wide range of subjects ranging from FEM to structural mechanics, fluid mechanics, biomechanics, traffic engineering, economics, management science, systems analysis, chemistry, and optimization of physical structures and organizational systems. Geoff was introduced by F. P. Hanna from Horizon Publishing Group; - “All the Owls Cry” by the young talented crime thriller writer Allison V. Garcia who is promised to be one of the best authors of the genre. Allison was introduced by the now well-known author Portia-Ann Forrest, for her book “About Love”; - “The Camros Bird” by the talented actress and author Diana Greentree, the co-founder of Actors for Nuclear Disarmament and Human Rights activist. Diana was introduced by her friend in arms Kirsty Adams. In celebration of the evening, the promising young singer Sinit Tsegay sang a song to the delight of the audience. A surprise at the end of the evening was the celebration of Diana’s 70th birthday. Horizon Publishing Group had organized a beautiful cake for Diana and the Choir snag happy birth day to you.
