In 1978 my parents took me to a weekend filled of Air show madness at McClellan AFB in Sacramento, California. My very 1st concert was that first day... I saw Alice Cooper perform and I was 5 years old. The next day I saw Journey. I will never forget that weekend in all my life probably because that was when I fell in love with Steve Perrys voice and the first time I ever heard Wheel In The Sky. In August of 1985 (I believe the last week of August in fact) the week before school started I went and seen for the 1st time Motley Crue (Theatre of Pain) and Loudness (Thunder In The East) at the TCC. I was 12 years old. Now here it is 2014 and tomorrow night I am taking my son who is 12 years old to see both my 1sts together Motley Crue and Alice Cooper. All my kids are 80s music lovers but my son loves it the most. And I cannot wait to see his face when he gets to see Motley Crue!
