In 1988, just before Easter, I went to the stunning Winter Palace and actually saw original bullet holes in the walls. The genocide of the ruling gentry was due also to the senates lieing about the date too on the State newspaper. This led to a change in calendars from the Orthodox Gregar calendar to the modern day system with a difference of 13 days such that the moon was back in line with the Roman date.
