In 1992 I formed a SRV tribute band called Texas Flood, with the late Simon Belson on drums and Dave Lovatt on bass. This was long before tribute bands became really popular. We played regularly around Adelaide and enjoyed a strong following. One of the bands highlights was supporting John Hammond Jnr at The Space Theatre in late 1992. This clip features us performing Freddie Kings Hideaway, which SRV covered with Double Trouble early in his career. Peter Spooner often did sound for us and was always a great supporter.
