In 1998 when Bruce Willis landed on a comet to save the world, well it was fun to watch, but the ESA engineers must have been watching too. 14 years later and 10 years after its launch Rosetta mission will land a probe on Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko . A very rough, strange shaped space comet, spewing gas and dust as it approaches the sun. Traveling at 35,000 MPH thru space spinning in a weird uninform manner, The head engineer from ESA said that it may not make it. We will know by this Wed. at 1PM when the photos from the surface arrive. What was science fiction 14 years ago, Is going to really happen on Wed.
