In 2001 Fine Gael’s environmental spokesman Ivan Yates stated - TopicsExpress

In 2001 Fine Gael’s environmental spokesman Ivan Yates stated that Fine Gael believed that there were sufficient grounds to point to serious health risks from the accumulative amount of fluoride in our piped water supply. If elected he pledged that the party would move both to end fluoridation because of health concerns and to order every health board to investigate existing levels of fluoride in ground water supplies. Roll on to 2014 and the party that promised to get fluoride removed is now upholding an archaic and dangerous policy. Alan Farrell, a Fine Gael TD has written to a constituent stating that the HSE uses a licensed product to fluoridate our water supplies and that the chemicals have been exhaustively tested and have been for decades. Yet the IMB have not licensed the water fluoridation chemicals as they have publicly stated. Alan can be contacted at [email protected] I wonder if he can provide the license number and the test results to show these chemicals do no harm!!!!
