In 2008-2009, I was thrilled by the daring act of Prime Minister. No he did not stood up against any neighboring enemy country, but he SPOKE UP! He spoke up against the left and it gave all of us a very proud feeling that - Our PM has the guts to speak up and stand for what is right - NUCLEAR POWER. On one hand there was the feeling of being ruled by a man who knew how to be aggressive, and on the other side it gave a ray of hope that we will finally have 24x7 power. Coming from a state which has good power cuts, we spend about 5000-7000 Rs PM only on power backup and despite that, theres a constant pressure - Light aa rahi hai?. Nation welcomed it, therefore. But today, 5-6 years have gone by, and not even a single event has been heard on that front. Instead what we are reading now is - THORIUM SCANDAL WORTH 48 LAKH CRORES, by Subramaniam Swamy on his FB page. Will anybody tell the following: a) What is the development on NUCLEAR POWER which was promised to the nation? b) Is any development happening on NUCLEAR POWER? c) If a & b are tough to answer, is THIS WHAT WE VOTED THEM FOR?
