In 2009, YouthHOPE was a newly launched ministry. Along with our parent organization, New Mission Systems International, we were one of hundreds of booths at Urbana Student Missions Conference. God strategically brought a man from Zambia, Lloyd Ngambi to that conference. As he maneuvered the hundreds of mission organization booths in the exhibit hall, he came up the YH/NMSI booth and met Aaron Arnold. The two hit it off immediately as Lloyd shared how this was the first and only booth he came across that is doing youth ministry. That day, a collaborative partnership began. Around a month later, Andrew William McClary went to Zambia and met with Lloyd. For the next few summers, Drew took college-age interns to Zambia to work alongside of Lloyd and learn of his vision for a training farm that disciples youth and share the Good News of Gods Gospel with them. Last summer, Derek Ried & I had the privilege of visiting Zambia and seeing the internship in action. 57.7% of rural people in Zambia live in extreme poverty, less than a dollar a day. We believe the local church in Zambia is the conduit which God uses to extend grace to the world. True grace only comes from Jesus. Tonight, join us in praying as we cast this vision on behalf of Lloyd and his ministry with the CCAP in Zambia. Glory to God!!!
