In 2012, this not for profit only used 8 % of 55 Million dollars that went for research. 10 % went for the managers salaries. I have heard the same for most of the similar projects including the wounded warriors one. I think Gary Sineses and the Red Cross spend their money actually helping people. Whenever there is a house fire, the Red Cross is ALWAYS there to give the people that lost their house money for clothes, food , etc and puts them up in a hotel room. The Red Cross also did an excellent job after Katrina.... All the people dumping ice water on their heads were really sold a false premise, BUT the people that did do it , did it from their hearts and meant well, so thank you to them.
