In 2012, when I ran for State Senate, I was asked to run by Dawn Morrell, who was then running to return to the State House of Representatives. Dawn had previously served eight years as the representative for this district, lost reelection by 29 votes in 2010, and returned to the legislature in 2012. She is now running for reelection again and needs our help. As a nurse, Dawns knows what needs to be done about our health care system, and she has helped make sure that the Affordable Care Act is being implemented properly in Washington State.
