In 2013, Charles Barkley, Shaquille ONeill and other black athletes condone and excuse the use of a single word in the public square ... and that word is NIGGER (and all its derivative forms) Kevin Hart and other comediennes use it ... Jay Z and other rappers use it ... and Samuel Jackson and other actors use it ... each under the guise of Creative License or Locker Room Sub Culture. but theres a common characteristic among them ... Theyre RICH and FAMOUS and in their minds ... money and celebrity insulate them from the historical indictment that word declares on their humanity and worth. Are we wrong in supporting them in their use? Should we petition their removal from broadcast airwaves and entertainment venues for endorsing and exploiting its use for personal gain?
