In 2013, Ukraine’s GDP grew to 8788$, while the GDP of Belarus leaped to the level of 17 615$. Over the last 13 years the population of Ukraine decreased from 51 million in 1991 to 45 million in 2014 – as a result of falling living standards, collapse of the healthcare system and mass migration. Real control over economy and politics was taken by some clans of oligarchs-billionaires and nobody is even trying to hide this fact. ... While speaking about bygone Holodomor, [Ukrainian liberals as well as fascists] actually try to divert or drop charges from themselves for hundreds of recently desolated villages and disastrous social policy, which has been leading to the depopulation of Ukraine since the 1990’s – this fact was recognized even by the current president of Ukraine. While speaking about the miseries of Ukrainian peasants in the 1930’s, they actually cover the disastrous ‘Ruin’ of Ukrainian villages, which can be easily seen even right outside of Kyiv-city. While speaking of ‘Iron Curtain’, they try to justify themselves to millions labor migrants as well as for all those people who are outside the office workers layer of middle class and, therefore, never traveled by plane, never mind having gone to resorts. While speaking of NKVD terror, they actually propose forgetting about new lords who hunt people in Ukraine or expensive jeep owners, who kill with impunity ‘average Ukrainians’ on the roads.
