In 2013 alone, the Harper Government approved the applications of 240,000 foreign temporary workers. But with the outing of RBC, Canadians voiced their anger at a system that pushed many Canadians out of their jobs in favor of cheaper imported workers who unlike Canadians could not raise their voice when rules and regulations were broken by employers. Feeling this change, the Harper Govt has now made it tougher for some industries to import cheap labour. Now, Canadas corporations are fighting back.
