In 7 hours time, I will have my 10th MRI since my diagnosis 21 months ago. As I was praying about my MRI and for several other people at the Church this evening, I felt God speak to me and he also wanted me to share this with you... Someone needs this advice. Rest in me, My child, Rest in me. You are not alone. He is on this journey with you. Are you struggling with something right now? Are you worried about your future? We must learn to laugh at ourselves more freely. We must not take ourselves or our circumstances so seriously. Relax and know that He is with you. When we desire his will above all else, life becomes much less threatening. We have a battle sometimes because we try and monitor his responsibilities - things that are beyond our control. Listen now...when we try to peer into the future and plan for every possibility, we ignore our constant companion who sustains our every moment. If youre not careful, as you gaze anxiously into the distance, you may not even feel the strong grip of his hand holding yours. Remembrance of him is a daily discipline. We must never lose sight of his Presence with us. Knowing this, we can rest in him all day, every day...yes, even in the MRI machines and waiting for the results a few hours later :-) Our hope and trust remains in the Lord. He never fails.
