In April, the Reserve Unit took our vintage 1925 patrol car down to the Moro Bay Emergency Vehicle Show. The vehicle won the Staff Choice Award. This vehicle was the oldest at the show and it was the first time we have entered the vehicle in this show. We received a lot of positive comments about the car and it was great seeing all the other emergency vehicles. According to the Reserve Deputies who attended, our only real competition was a 1927 Dodge Paddy wagon from Santa Barbara County Sheriffs Office (I included a photo for you to be the judge). Thank you to the Reserve Unit for taking the time to travel down to Moro Bay and show off a great piece of history from our office.
