In Arizona an elementary school teacher was fired for defending an African American student from being racially bullied. You belong to a zoo, stupid head, monkey, crackhead, said Malachi, quoting what he said were daily taunts from a group of five boys (nydaily news 2014) The boys accused the teacher of telling them to shut up and calling them ugly. The five students told their parents and the parents brought it to the attention of the school board. Days later the teacher was fired for simply doing her job as a teacher.
