In Christ we have the perfect righteousness of God by faith regardless of our diet, and this WITHOUT THE LAW (Rom. 3:21; Philip. 3:9). True a person may abstain from eating pork for health reasons, but the grocery stores are filled with toxic foods, such preservatives, artificial colors, corn syrup, hydrogenated oils, hydrolyzed protein (plant or soy), glutamate, glutamic acid, autholyzed yeast extract, sodium caseinate, calcium caseinate, disodium guanylate, inosinate, monopotassium glutamate and gelatin (which normally has MSG in its ingredients.) In sum, start abstaining—health wise there are a lot of things to abstain from, including refined sugar. But to each his own, and MUCH MORE IMPORTANTLY remember this: “NOW THE SPIRIT SPEAKETH EXPRESSLY, THAT IN THE LATTER TIMES SOME SHALL DEPART FROM THE FAITH, GIVING HEED TO SEDUCING SPIRITS, AND DOCTRINES OF DEVILS; SPEAKING LIES IN HYPOCRISY; HAVING THEIR CONSCIENCE SEARED WITH A HOT IRON; FORBIDDING TO MARRY, AND COMMANDING TO ABSTAIN FROM FOODS, WHICH GOD HAS CREATED TO BE RECEIVED WITH THANKSGIVING OF THEM WHICH BELIEVE AND KNOW THE TRUTH.
