In Dudelange! After landing in Zürich, being reminded at immigration of why having dual citizenship with Switzerland is fantastic, and a 6 hour train ride, Im so delighted to have a chance to play the magnificent Stahlhuth (1912)/Jann (2002) organ at St-Martin. I can easily understand why this instrument has been so frequently recorded: rarely does one find an organ with such fluency in so many 19th- and 20th-century styles, paired with an excellent presence in a fine acoustic. Perhaps its good that Im a bit jet-lagged as Id otherwise stay here all night! This is also my first time in Luxembourg, and hopefully not my last - wonderful people and hospitality here.
