In Haitian folklore, a zombie (Haitian Creole: zonbi, Haitian French: zombi) is an animated corpse raised by magical means, such as witchcraft.[1] Why would a Christian want to entertain themselves with such things? Im sorry if this offends anyone but I dont believe that Christians should entertain themselves with things that are associated with magic, darkness, or evil. This includes zombies, vampires, and holloween, which I hate. For those that want to label me judgmental, fine. However, I dont believe that I am judging anyone when I look at something that does not line up with Gods word and say that is wrong. I feel it is simply agreeing with Gods word. God set the standard, not me. I dont believe it is innocent. Ephesians 4:27 and do not give the devil a foothold. Entertaining evil opens the door for the devil to gain a foothold and if he gains a foothold he will turn it into a stronghold. Ephesians 5:8-11 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. My fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, please give careful consideration to what you put before your eyes. Please give careful consideration to that which you are willing to compromise. Galatians 6:7-8 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Im sure I will receive a backlash from this post but I dont care. I would rather receive that than to remain silent and not obey Gods direction on this issue.
