In Ireland and New Zealand, a bus driver usually also our guide. They are very jolly and knowledgeable about the history of their country and other countries. Hey ... never ever look down on them, coz some are the owner of the transportation companies themselves and many of them have traveled to some places in the world even probably to your country! The bus drivers and the guides in Portugal speak at least 4 languages; the majority of them speak of course Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and English, some even speak 7 to foreign language fluently. No wonder if those countries can earn a lot of income from their tourism businesses.
