In January 2013 I made a News years resolution to donate to a non profit organization each month. I allotted myself a set amount each month. My resolution was not expecting help. After posting it just because I was proud, I had a flood of friends that jumped on the band wagon. I am not looking for recognition. I found myself in a place in my life that I have basically everything I want and NEED. I am far from rich with money but overloaded with riches with the good things. Every month Paul and I are amazed at the donations that are collected . There are so many families and individuals that are in need . In October we are collecting for Waters edge pantry. This is one of the best run food pantries I ever been involved with. I am not putting any other one down. Kelli Tidwell Stawecki ministers to the needy families and to the homeless. I encourage all my friends to consider donating one or more items to this months project. Yesterday I had a little lady pulled up in my drive in a very old car and her and her son were very modestly dressed . She identified herself and said she would like to give a little. She had a few can goods and said that was all she could give but someone told her about our project and she wanted to share. This my friends is what sharing is all about. For those that go out and buy $20.00 worth of groceries, THANK YOU !!!!!! For those of you that bring 1-2 items , THANK YOU !!!!!!!! You are all equal in your sharing . I will be collecting till the morning of Nov 1. I also want to enforce the fact I do not want money. I do not ever want to open the door from anyone questioning my intentions .
