In Japan one can find many aspects and things of Indian origin but in refined forms so one has to look closely to realise its origin. I would like to ask PM Modi to visit at least one Pre- Primary and/or Primary School and see/enquire followings:- 1. How much time/hrs children spent in school? 2. How much time/hrs teachers devote to school? 3. Children to perform class room and school cleaning? 4. How many activities are run by school? 5. How much regard Japanese teachers have in society? 6. Even Pre primary student has chance to see rice field once a year? 7. Do Primary schools teachers commute 200 km per day to reach school? Pre-primary and Primary education is foundation stone for future of generations and also for country. In our case this sector is severely neglected by Govt. so far as evident from scenario of chaos around us. Private schools in this sector are not more than looting( emotional/cultural and financial ) centres. We have to do significant home work for reforms in this sector. In our case school runs for 5 hrs per day. And then so many holidays. Many teachers come once a while for salary attendance. Many teachers do commute 200 km or more per day to mark attendance in a school and do some work and return early. Many teachers consider teaching as part time job for full salary and their main work being some other business. Class room or school cleaning by students may become a national news in the name of child labor act. We are agricultural country and agro activities are severely/ or so much restricted in schools that our leaders have no chance to learn difference between red chilly and green chilly. And those leaders are giving directions to our agro activities. Vandemataram!!!!!
