In Luke Jesus replied to questions about tradition explainging that divine values took presedence over old forms. As Thanksgiving approaches everyone is asking me what I am doing, where Im eating and warning me about what not to do which has really been working on my heart and mind. I dont really know what Im doing or where Im going. In most families it is a tradition that you get together on holidays. I guess in my family its a tradition to talk about everyone and not get together on holidays. (Yep I said it) With all the calamity were all losing the spirit of not only of Thanksgiving but our family. Thanksgiving is a time to come together as a family and PRAISE our Lord God for the years harvest. Its a time to CELEBRATE with your love ones. To show APPRECIATION and RESPECT and LOVE. In Luke it says Jesus garnered charges and cast out a demon on the sabbath because divine values take presedence over old forms. Even though it went against what people were use to and wasnt suppose to happen he did it because it was the DIVINE thing to do... maybe its time we start a new tradition!
