In New Jersey, schools must designate an anti-bullying specialist - TopicsExpress

In New Jersey, schools must designate an anti-bullying specialist to investigate complaints; each district must, in turn, have an anti-bullying coordinator; and the State Education Department will evaluate every effort, posting grades on it’s website. The law also requires districts to appoint a safety team at each school, made up of teachers, staff members and parents, to review complaints. Louisiana has enacted a lot of new requirements, some the same as NJ, effective 01/01/2013. What, in your opinion, do you think our schools could do to help our teachers deal less with conduct &/or bully issues in the classroom so they can spend more time teaching our children? (no throwing rocks at us either, we are not attacking teachers...we want to help them getting back to what they love to do...teach) ~HM
