In Wisconsin, a prayer treatment exception exists to child abuse. In other words, a parent can state they did not abuse their child by not taking them to the doctor because they decided to pray for them instead. However, if the child dies because you didnt take them to he doctor and the parent is charged with reckless homicide the exception does not apply. DOES THIS MAKE SENSE TO YOU? Should this exception exist? Should the government be able to control religious or override religious decision for the best interest of a child?
