In Yesterdays service Apostle Duane Youngblood continued in his series on Faith Filled Words. In this particular message, he dealt with the order things come to pass in our lives which is to Believe, Speak and then Receive. Believe means to think to be true, to be persuaded of, give credit to or place confidence in. With this, he provided us with four things that we are supposed to believe. 1). Were supposed to believe Gods word because where were headed is only known by our belief system. Plus how can we believe the word if you dont know the word? 2). Were supposed to believe God is able which means that some things we desire arent always going to be us going to find it. Instead, Hes going to let those things that belong to us call out to us because they know they belong to us! 3). Were supposed to believe God is willing and 4). Were supposed to believe there is a necessary action on our parts. The next component is Speak and in dealing with this point Apostle went to the story of Joshua and how he didnt wait for God to give him a day but instead he commanded the officers to prepare because in three days they would be passing over the Jordan and into the land that the Lord gave them to possess. Once he spoke, it was then that he was given the strategy and what this shows us is that God is not moving in our lives until we say something. Our voice is our mailbox and what we need He is going to deliver it there. God is not going to always provide us with a specific time of when something is going to happen because He wants us to start pronouncing when it has to happen. How we do that is speaking the promises of the word of God and not the our problems. The last component is Receive and here Apostle went back to the story of the woman with the issue of blood and how she believed that if she could just touch the hem of Jesus garment that she would be whole. Whats interesting though is when Jesus was asking who was calling out to him, amongst the many people that were trying to get to him, we were shown that it wasnt her voice but her touch that stood out to him because of her belief. What that means is each of us are unique, our voice patterns are unique and so God is able to distinguish between each and everyone of us when we talk to him. So know that when you speak, he hears you, when you pray, he hears you and once you just believe what you speak, you shall receive.
