In a few hours John and Carrie Tillot will land in AZ as they begin their journey towards the finish line of IM AZ. Anyone who has raced an IM, knows that the race is only a small piece of the journey and that the road is a difficult one even for the most disciplined and fit. Nobody crosses that finish line without receiving help and support along the way, nobody crosses without inspiration, and nobody crosses the line without having knocked down many obstacles that appear in the years, months, and weeks that lead to race day. Both Carrie and John have done just that. While Carrie has embarked on this journey in memory of her mother, it was John who was the spark that ignited their desire to abandon their old unhealthy lifestyle and seek out a life that celebrates hard work, perseverance, and a desire to inspire others. And for those of you who have ever doubted that ANY-thing is possible and that hard work pays off, please think of the journey that Carrie has taken. It has never been easy, and heck, it may never be easy, but what Carrie teaches us all is that the process and the journey are worth every step of the way. On Sunday, barriers will be broken, tears will be shed, laughs will be heard, and inspiration will abound. Get after it Team Tillot!
