In a few moments here in Tunisia it will be 11am. I am privileged to have had the honour of paying my respects to those brave people who gave everything for our freedom this week at one corner of a foreign field a remote cemetery in north western Tunisia. Even more so because of its location less than an hour from the Algerian border. It was an honour to find the grave of an ancestor of a former schoolfriend. It made the visit more personal. Sunday was a day I will never forget. Nor should we forget the sacrifices made by millions over the past 100 years to keep our Great Britain free. It is a sacrifice just as relevant today as it was a century ago. We must not let the extremists who want to destroy our proud nation win. We must do it for all those who fought for our freedom in the past and for our future generations. We must support our armed forces more than ever before. We Will Remember Them.
