In a recent interview with the Associated Press, Governor Lincoln - TopicsExpress

In a recent interview with the Associated Press, Governor Lincoln Chafee stated that he likes adventure and is open to it after his term concludes. I would posit that his entire term thus far has been a bewildering omni-directional adventure for all Ocean State citizens! First, he asserted that legalizing gay marriage would have a significant positive effect on the economy. For obvious reasons of limited volume it did not. Then he proposed increasing taxes on virtually everything with his untenable broaden and lower concept of taxation, which was rightfully rejected by the General Assembly. Then he seemed preoccupied with what one should name a tree. He assumed a hypersensitivity toward all things Christmas, lest we offend the Druid population in Rhode Island. Then he strongly felt that a cold blooded killer should live, and was willing to circumvent the federal government to prove his point. Lastly, he signed the pension reform bill into law, and shortly afterwards mercurially stated that the state and the unions should negotiate. His entire tenure in office has been one long confusing adventure!!!! Chris the Furniture Man
