In a weird creepy coincidence ive been reading Joseph Anton over the last few days..... Many of the themes Rushdie raises time and again.. Freedom of speech, a lack of logic in behaviour in the name of religion, mindless adherence to insane, illogical outmoded beliefs... Ive heard the man speak, he spoke sense and as usual there was nobody who listened to him.... Step 1 in the Talibanisation of our country?? RIP Narendra Dabholkar...
