In all of this talk about this proposal, I realize there is one glaringly obvious piece missing. No where do I see where any teachers have had any input into the process. In my opinion, NOTHING should be done regarding moving students without speaking with the teachers FIRST AND FOREMOST. They are the ones who teach our children and know how certain changes would either improve or worsen any academic situation. Arent the teachers the ones who know whats best for the students, as parents know whats best for their children? I see a lot of proposals made and assumptions made but NOWHERE do I see where teachers or parents have been asked. I have seen reference to studies but where do I see input from the Manchester teachers, the TRUE EXPERTS when it comes to our children?
