Strong neck muscles help prevent injuries to your neck, and help protect against injuries to your spinal cord as well. Always remember to use caution in doing any neck muscle exercises. Warm up first and rotate your neck from side to side. To increase flexibility use a full range of motion. If you experience problems, see your doctor.
