In an effort to move forward -- from this day forward - I commit to use my energy in a more positive way. (Look, no snarky punch line!) . Look, you all know that I I sometimes can’t hold my tongue, nor have been the easiest person to get along with,(yeah, there might be a few others of you out there! We are like terriers!) but I really want to move beyond all of this nonsense. First, I want to apologize to all of you to whom I have offended, I am just one of those individuals who often loses his filter when he really should have one! I am deeply committed to our breed, and to the positive people who support new breeders and the collaborative ones who are always willing to help with a bit of advice, or through friendship. That said, I also al trying to find appreciation for everyone in the group, for each member has something to offer. I am most grateful to those few who had advised, mentored and encouraged me, and although I may not always express my opinions in the most thoughtful of ways, sometimes one has to walk in the shoes of others before they can truly appreciate the scope of a journey, such as this one I am having through the ITCA. As a human being, I am a work in progress too. Moving forward, I am certainly willing to work with open-minded individuals who can keep the big picture in their head no matter what is said or shared– who can have an honest, civil discussion about all sorts of issues without defaulting to disrespectful lashing out to defend a personal agenda. I can say that, because I used to behave this way too! And it sucks. Look. I get it. I am turning over a new leaf, and willing to lay it all out there for the breed that I love.
