In case you were not at the CCDP Nominations Meeting, here is my nominations acceptance speech. Elections are Saturday, July 27 2 years ago, I stood before you and asked for your vote and I was humbled by your overwhelming support. Together... We have accomplished many things... Together...A successful Clark County Convention Together... We hired an organizer to help coordinate party activities during the 2012 Election Together... We started the move into the technology age Together... With you, I personally walked and phone banked for SEVERAL Candidates including President Obama, Shelley Berkley, Steven Horsford, John Oceguerra, April Mastroluca, James Healey, Justin Jones. Together... We cried over losses and celebrated victories last November . Municipal Races. Together... We kept Henderson 100% Democratic, Together... For the first time in 16 years, we elected a Democratic Mayor in North Las Vegas Together... We elected Isaac Barron - the first Hispanic council person We have already started working on 2014 by setting up a voter registration task force Together... We will unemploy Joe Heck, keep our State Legislature and County Commission in Democratic Majorities We can do this... TOGETHER! Today, I once again humbly ask for your support!! Thank you!
