In case you were wondering why it was orange outside it is because a few days after the summer solstice there is typically a lot of rain(from the solstice heat). That causes the place to rain. And since the sun is at its brightest and hottest around this time a crap ton of light, UVA/B/C radiation, and Hydrogen into the Atmosphere. The increase of hydrogen in the atmosphere would normally call for blue skies. But since the sun is obnoxiously bright, it is the color of the sun at the current time. "Sunset"
