In case youre keeping score... My friends as a sports fan all sports go by numbers. The pay of the players goes by the numbers they produce or do not produce. The Scores are numbers and the Outcomes of Games are numbers too. One truism is that Numbers Dont Lie! Especially in Wins and Losses! When it comes to Politics and Elections it is the same. But when it comes down to the two parties and Who really Won and Lost in terms of on Social Programs and Issues well there is a huge difference! I am writing this so if you have a friend or relative still undecided on who to vote for, this post could help you out. I will list programs by Administration and Party! We will start with the Democrats: Democrats gave us... 1.Womens Right to vote -Wilson administration 2. NEW DEAL 3.WPA 4.TVA 5. C .C. C. which today is the U.S. Forestry Service 6. Agriculture Farm. Aid. 7. Labor Unions 8. Minimum wage -FOR Administration 9. G.I. Bill - Truman Administration 10. Peace Corps - Kennedy Administration 11. Civil Rights 12.Voting Rights 13. Medicare 14. Medicaid 15.Food Stamps 16. WiC 17. Welfare 18.head start 19. Pell Grant 20. Student Loans L B J - Administration 21. DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION-Carter Administration. 22. Gun Control 23 . Cops program -Clinton administration 24. ACA 25 . Lilly Ledbetter fair pay for women act 26. Financial Reforms - Obama Administration. Now we go to the Republican (GOP) side... 1.F .D A. 2. USDA 3. NATIONAL PARKS -Teddy Roosevelt- administration 4. Interstate Highways - Eisenhower administration 5. EPA - Nixon administration. 6. Medicare part D - W Bush administration This is over a 114 yr period . The score is Democrats 26 - Republicans 6. If you do this over 100 yrs and remove The Teddy Roosevelt contributions it is Democrats 26 - Republicans 3 So think about all the good and note The ADA is one of the few pure bipartisan laws. The GOP want to even eliminate the 6 programs they created. If I were going by the numbers, I would vote Democrat! Because Numbers do not lie. Safe streets clean air, clean water, fair pay, food, healthcare, dignity. Thanks to the Democrats fighting to keep it! So keep in mind numbers do not lie no matter how the GOP tries to buy and sell it .The Republicans give us all 0 and take 99%! That is why we must #VOTEBLUE All on Nov 4 2014
