In chase-tag-catch transit, the great luminaries play in the limitless azure vastness; a sometimes cloud-speckled playground for little gods. Occasionally separate, occasionally unified, the ever-glowing circles of light Emanate, Expand, And boil over Ebullient, radiating Love in the Spirit of the Father and the Son. The One-Source-Light for the both of them originates from the core; the heart legacy of this Love was bourne before time began to be counted, yet its warmth burst forth only eight minutes and twenty seconds before. Or wasnt it that great Lover of mine, Hafez who, when inspired said, Even after all this time the sun never says to the earth, You owe me. Look what happens with a love like that, It lights up the whole sky. After a lovely day of adventure, play and loving words and loving deeds, we arrive at His home. He cries when I drop Him off to His mother. I hold Him in our last fleeting moments of the day and rock Him back and forth, cradled in my arms, telling Him not to worry, I will see Him again soon. The tears wont stop and He clings to me, weeping bitterly. The beauty of this agony-filled moment tears my heart into a thousand pieces; each of them flung like precocious feathered seeds on the wind that gently plant themselves into fertile ground and grow into a lush life-giving forest. I will remake that forest a thousand times and we will play upon its verdant greens in this life and the next. Oh, this misery will go on for some time unless I trick Him; I learned long ago that mischievousness is my only merciful ally: Take this toy spider and hide it in your pocket, when you see momma, pull it out and go raagh! It will scare her real good! Suddenly fear and sadness give way to gleeful little boy naughtiness. He rushes into that house and can think of nothing but the task at hand Ive given Him. Our sorrowful goodbye is transformed into her misfortune; the entire day before in labor, thats what she gets for giving birth on April 2nd, the ultimate April fools joke. You may call me devious if you wish. I only call myself lucky.
