In early June 1967 Baltimore group Bob Brady & the Con Chords released a cover version of the Smokey Robinson (written) & Miracles album cut More, More, More Of Your Love on Philly based Chariot Records a division of Cameo-Parkway. The single became an instant hit at WIBG peaking for two weeks at #14 in late August. It never cracked the Billboard Hot 100 but charted for four weeks on the Bubbling Under chart peaking at #104. Most people mistook this for a Miracles song since Brady sounded much like Smokey. A&M records would re-release it in 1972 under the name of Bob Brady & it never caught on. Next on Philly Phriday: This is NOT a Whitney song.
