In honor of Johns birthday, Im re-posting and commenting on this foto, which was taken at Yoko Onos Syracuse Museum exhibit, The plastic flower was created the night before Goebel & I drove out to Syracuse. The hat is Goebels. I embroided the jacket, 2nd photo (taken in 2011), sometime between 69 & 70. Somehow or another, We ended up at a chocolate chessboard exhibit (the pieces were made of white & dark chocolate), and so, we decided to play...with the following rule: if you took the piece you had to eat it. We got thru 3/4 of the pieces before a museum guard asked us to stop (Im being politically correct here), saying that there werent any backups for the pieces we had already devoured. He neglected to mention all the reporters and $$$ guests who had done the same as we, but attended the preview the night before. Any rate, before exiting the exhibit, you were led into a large room that contained a number of people covered with burlap (if memory serves me right, but memory, me, and the 60s are verrrrry iffy :D ) sheets. According to the next days papers, Yoko and John were two of the sheets. Anywho...Love you John...Imagine giving peace a chance
