In honor of Missions..if you would like to support other moms in need: Womens Ministry at Hillside has a SHOP for MOM event on Dec. 1st at the Cherokee Violence Center where the children living there shop for their moms for Christmas ,with your help as a guide, from the donated items and we wrap it too. Im going to be there taking their Christmas card picture that we print out and put in a card :) So if you want to donate a gift, bring to MOPS meeting this Monday or Hillside until Nov 24th. Contact below if you are interested in volunteering at this event and blessing these moms/children. In Him, Dana Mixer Donations are Being Accepted!! Needed are new or like new items such as: Winter scarves, hats, gloves, candles, household decorating items, purses, jewelry, kitchen cookware, serving sets, blankets and throws, bath sets, devotional books and journals, etc. Anything a child would be proud to give his or her mother! We are also in need of smaller shipping boxes to wrap gifts in, bubble wrap, Christmas wrapping paper, bows, ribbon and tape refills (for desk top tape dispensers). New, or like new items, will be accepted in the church office beginningSunday Oct. 27 thru Sunday Nov. 24. Volunteers are needed to help behinds the scenes in preparing for Shop forMom as well as the day of! Volunteer sign up begins Sunday Oct 27th and ends Sunday Nov 17th.
