In honor of Veterans Day, we would like to share these beautiful written by the family of one of our clients: Mr. David Allison served in the United States Army as a Specialist 4 –Boat Operator from 1966 -1968 and he is a Vietnam Veteran. He received an honorable discharge and remained on the active reserve list for a number of years upon his return home. Although, he began to develop some health concerns while in Vietnam, he kept quiet and did not disclose them. He says, “I was proud to serve my country and I wanted an honorable discharge.” He successfully completed his mission. Mr. Allison is a true picture of strength. He has overcome so many obstacles in life and his physicians are always amazed at his perseverance and medical outcomes. Mr. Allison is a widower and lived alone up until 2009. He now lives comfortably with his daughter and has received continuous care from Home Instead Senior Care - Charlotte since 2010. His current caregiver(s) are Paulette H and Melissa B. “Some Gave All, All Gave Some”... Today we honor and salute you Mr. David Allison and we thank you for your service.
