In light of hearing some of the negative comments made to people regarding their appearance today, Id like to share a conversation that was shared with me regarding Cate today... This is a conversation regarding Cate between a friend and her 5 year old daughter: Mom: You remember Cate, shes in your Sunday school class. Child: CATE! She has spots on her face. Why does she have spots on her face? Mom: God gave her special skin. He makes every one of us a little special and a little different from everyone else. That is one of the ways he made Cate special. Child: Well, I think God made her beautiful! This touched my heart in a special way...it made me cry...and reminded me of the beauty INSIDE people, not just on the outsides of people.
