In little less than 24 hours, folks have donated nearly $3,000 to help out my hometown. Might you consider pushing the campaign over its goal and beyond? Marlinton, West Virginia suffered a horrific fire over the weekend that has devastated Main Street. The wildly talented Ben Sollee is performing tonight there and has pledged $1,000 of his performance fee to help the fire departments, individuals, and businesses impacted. Marlinton -- there aint no g (who knows that poem by Andrew Price?) -- is nestled along the Greenbrier River and amongst the rural Appalachian hills that reside at my core. It has survived two massive floods in my lifetime and now this. Wont you help its fine citizens overcome this hurdle? The town will never be quite the same, obviously, but it will rebound and continue to be a place of genuine beauty filled with generous, gentle souls. Please help if you can. igg.me/p/589959
