In my 37 years, I have racked up a lot of interesting situations. Ive made mistakes, hurt people, been hurt. I do what I can to apologize and make amends, but when I am forgiven, I move on to do other things. Recently, someone who was a big part of my life revealed that they were upset about something I did ten years ago. It came as a shock to me, considering I thought the situation long resolved. I wont go nto too much detail for sake of privacy, but I will say that I did something very stupid that hurt a good friend of mine. I apologized at the time, realizing that I was at fault. I thought it was done, water under the bridge. Apparently, the person in question stewed on it for a decade before bringing it to my attention. I bring this up because I would MUCH rather you, whomever is reading this, come to me with things I have done wrong so I can actually do something about it and learn from my mistakes than sit on it until it tears our relationship apart. I do not mean to hurt you, and, even if I did at the time, please let me make amends however I can do so. As it is now, I have lost a friend, and I guess that is the price I have had to pay. I dont want to lose anyone else due to a breakdown in communication.
