In my opinion CBS was a bit rushed and premature in announcing Stephen Colbert as their next host of Late Night. I will wait and watch with curious anticipation, but it will likely all result in my going to bed earlier. Maybe thats their plan because I no longer fit anyones demographic! I fear that Colberts comedic range may not be universal enough for a major network show. His right-wing character works for cable, but will the real Colbert be up to the task. Time will tell, but as I stated a few days ago this will be a new show. There is no replacement for David Letterman. I wish him well, just simply do not understand the rush on CBS part. Did they really consider every available personality? Tina Fey? Just sayin . . .
