In my opinion, this video more than any other shows clearly that Dawkins is merely an atheist on a mission. His mission requires that he ignores the truth, in order to promote his anti religion agenda and he is not above promoting falsehood in that campaign. How does a professed scientist ignore all of the scientific proof and evidence that Muslims did not attack the US on 9/11, an event that he loves to bring up and blames on Islam. He says that only the suicide bombings of Tamil Tigers is based upon pure politics and economic oppression, while all other such acts are motivated by a desire for paradise and virgins. Is he really so ignorant of science that he doesnt realize that such escapism is in fact the result of extreme hopelessness and economic and political oppression, has he never bothered to study, research or inquire about what can cause such acts of desperation? In my opinion Dawkins is a sophists that uses the language of science in an attempt to undermine faith and religion. Fortunately science does not serve him very well in that respect and in fact is almost completely absent from his logic and presentation.
